Did you review Death Comes to Pemberly? I seem to remember it. I can’t find it through a search. The problem I’m having with it is that while James is a good writer, she isn’t Jane Austen.
I did finish it. This book doesn’t really work. The characters have no affect. You don’t get a glimmer of passion between Darcy and Elizabeth and the last-minute confession was really not believable.

P.D. James is definitely not Jane Austen — who is? It was helpful to me to view Death Comes to Pemberly through that lens.
